CEO Highlights Industry Resilience
CEO Cecilie Thorsmark described the season as a “palette-cleanser,” emphasizing that CPHFW’s success depends on its brands and designers. "Our industry has had to navigate some incredibly challenging years, which have tested businesses and demanded extraordinary resilience," she stated at the anniversary gala, attended by figures like models Alana Hadid and Adwoa Aboah, and DJ Louise Chen.

Notable Highlights
The season featured triumphant returns from previously absent brands, strong debuts from Nordic and international talent, and a vibrant atmosphere with gifting suites and side events. International guests made a significant impact, with brands like Almada Label (Finland), Sson (Sweden), Paolina Russo (London), and Iamisigo (Lagos) showcasing their collections.

Zalando Visionary Award Showcase
This year’s Zalando Visionary Award winner, Institution by Galib Gassanoff, presented a standout show held within Copenhagen’s Statens Museum for Kunst (SMK), utilizing woven carpets from Central Asia to celebrate Georgian and Azerbaijani crafts. Senior buyer Kelsey Lyle noted the collection’s “point of view” and directional approach.
International Guest Slot
CPHFW introduced an international guest slot, with New York-based Collina Strada staging the penultimate show. The collection, entirely upcycled and made specifically for Copenhagen, showcased the brand’s craftsmanship and commitment to sustainability, supported by The Climate Pledge. Designer Hillary Taymour highlighted the challenge of creating intricate details initially deemed impossible by her factory.
